Big Enough for Two
Lots of people want to know if a tiny house is big enough for two. Tammy Strobel and Logan Smith seem to think so, as do their two cats. They moved into their tiny house in 2011, haven’t thrown each other out (are still happily married) and are living there today. Their house was designed and built by PAD, and was the next step in their desire to live more simply and happily. Their journey began in 2007 in California, where Tammy and Logan found themselves swimming in a sea of high debt and stressful jobs. They determined to change that equation, get rid of their cars, change their jobs, and ultimately live in a tiny house smaller (and cuter) than a parking space.
Tammy and Logan have been featured in the New York Times, USA Today), The Today Show, MSNBC, CNN, Huffington Post and dozens of local television programs and NPR affiliates. Tammy’ book, “You Can Buy Happiness (And its Cheap)” is now on the shelves!
There are plenty of other couples who have found tiny house living comfortable. Besides Tammy and Logan’s house, take a look at The Tiny Tack House in Seattle.
